WILLIAMSON COUNTY - Dr. Garth W. Coonce, who founded the TCT Network with his wife, Tina, has died at the age of 86, the network announced on Monday.

TCT Network is a Christian television network that has been owned by the Goonce family and headquartered in Southern Illinois since 1984.

Garth has obtained several degrees including a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Masters of Business Administration, a Doctorate in Humanities as well as an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity and Literary Law Degree.

Funeral arrangements are pending at this time.
