REND LAKE - You can stay cool by supporting a good cause next weekend at Rend Lake for the annual Illinois Special Olympics Polar Plunge event.

Special Olympics Illinois Region K will be hosting their second local Plunge at Rend Lake next Saturday, March 4, 2023.

Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. with the Plunge taking place at noon. There will also be a pre-plunge party with refreshments, music and fun!  

Polar Plunge participants are encouraged to fundraise beyond the $100 minimum for a chance to qualify for additional incentives.
