WILLIAMSON COUNTY - A Marion man is facing multiple kidnapping and domestic abuse charges for allegedly smuggling a woman across the US-Mexico border.

According to authorities, Wuilmer Bautista, 38, paid nearly $4,500 to have a Honduran woman smuggled across the border in late August and brought her to live with him.

Bautista is also accused of physical abuse towards the woman, who later left him to be with family in Nashville, Tennessee.

Bautista is then accused of paying additional money to kidnap the woman and bring her back to Marion, before abusing her again.

Marion Police say they used a cell phone text message to track down the victim.
