SALINE COUNTY - A 2009 Southeastern Illinois College graduate will appear as a contestant on the upcoming season of “The Bachelorette.”

Nathaniel Mitchell, a graduate of Southeastern Illinois College in 2009, will appear on the new season upcoming on ABC.

While at SIC, Nathaniel Mitchell was a member of the men’s basketball team from 2007-2009 before transferring to SIU Carbondale.

The 19th season of "The Bachelorette" premieres Monday, July 11 on ABC.
