Betty White's special Illinois connection

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - Following nine decades of lighting up the entertainment business, America's "Golden Girl", Betty White, passed away at age 99 on Friday just a few weeks short of her 100th birthday.
Betty White was born in Illinois, and moved with her family to California after just about a year and a half.
White was born in the village of Oak Park, Illinois on January 17, 1922. Oak Park is located just west of Chicago.
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker released a statement on Friday remembering the entertainment icon...
"Betty White was born in Oak Park and grew up to become a national treasure. I join her millions of fans in commemorating a comedic genius and a remarkable American life," said the Governor.
